Whether you're entering college for the first time, returning after time away, transferring from another institution, or applying from outside the U.S., our admissions process is designed to be straightforward and supportive.
Learn everything you need to know about applying to MOI here, including admissions requirements, required documentation, financial aid options, estimated costs, and credit transfer policies. You'll also find guidance tailored for military and international applicants, as well as details on immunizations, proof of residency, and eligibility for aid.
Admission Requirements
Applicants must be high school graduates or hold a state-approved equivalent diploma. In addition, an applicant must comply with any specific legal or educational requirement prescribed by their intended state of practice.
The time required to complete degree requirements at MOI depends upon the number of transfer credits completed. Applicants with a minimum of 60 credits, an Associate's degree, or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution will be granted advanced standing and will have satisfied their first semester general education core. All transfer students must still meet the Professional Ethics and History of Funeral Service core requirements.
