Payment Policies

💳 Payment Requirements

Tuition is due in full at the start of each semester. Students are encouraged to finalize financial aid and payment arrangements before classes begin.

Students with outstanding balances will not be permitted to:

  • Register for future semesters
  • Receive diplomas
  • Obtain official transcripts

💰 Refund & Credit Balance Policy

Refunds are processed only when federal aid exceeds direct charges, and only after attendance is verified. Credit balances from PLUS Loans will be refunded to the parent borrower unless otherwise authorized.

All funds are applied in order: Scholarships → Grants → Loans

🎖️ VA Pending Payment Policy

MOI complies with Title 38 U.S. Code § 3679(e), ensuring that students using VA education benefits will not be penalized for delayed payments. While awaiting VA funds, MOI will not:

  • Prevent enrollment or registration
  • Impose late fees or penalties
  • Require alternate funding arrangements
  • Deny access to courses or facilities

To qualify, students must provide a Certificate of Eligibility, a written request to be certified, and any additional information needed for certification.
